About The Position

Sika is seeking a Receiver to join its growing Roofing team in Sealy, Texas. The Receiver is responsible for receiving incoming raw materials, unloading trucks, and handling deliveries within the facility. The role works closely with production to monitor material supplies, oversees receiving activities and personnel, verifies quantities against packing slips, and records receipts in SAP. The Receiver also receives and unloads tanker trucks into the appropriate tanks and receives and loads resin onto racks. The position requires maintaining a clean and safe work area, following safety procedures and regulations, and complying with company environmental policies and work practices. The role also requires reporting other concerns that could affect safety, the environment, or company property.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 2–5 years of previous work experience, ideally in a receiving area.
• Forklift operation experience and forklift certification.
• Precise attention to detail.
• Numerical aptitude and ability to count incoming material.
• Strong organization.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work with production to monitor supplies of materials.
