About The Position

Legrand has an opportunity for a Receiver in Union, Ohio. The position is responsible for unloading and receiving incoming freight and verifying quantities with resources such as computers, calculators, and scales. The Receiver checks paperwork and packing slips against purchase orders entered into Syteline and must document and perform transactions accurately, with close attention to detail.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to operate a forklift and reach truck.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate discrepancies to leadership.
• Basic computer experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, and stack delivered products on pallets.
• Receive products using RF scanners.
• Move products to designated areas by manually lifting and moving items or using industrial powered equipment.
• Assist with put-away as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
