About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, verifying deliveries, preparing the dock, and keeping backrooms organized. You may assist customers with locating or loading products and support their projects with friendly, professional service. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves working on your feet for most of the shift and following safe lifting, equipment-use, hazardous-material, and housekeeping procedures. Depending on store needs, schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight hours. Occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or to support nearby stores, though regular travel is not required. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading and rotating orders, resolving customer order issues, communicating with customers, and following Delivery Readiness practices.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
Follow safe lifting practices; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, and team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.

At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
