Full Time - Receiver/Stocker - Day
About The Position
As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, handling equipment and hazardous materials safely, and preparing the work area for daily operations. It is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight hours depending on store needs. Associates are also expected to assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. The role involves unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, maintaining organized backrooms, and keeping the workspace clean and safe. Associates may assist customers with locating or loading products. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, responsibilities also include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading and rotating orders, resolving order issues, communicating with customers, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The position does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
- Follow safe lifting practices; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds.
- Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Nice To Haves
- Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities
- Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
- Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
- Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
- Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
- Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
- Load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
- Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
- Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
- Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
- Occasionally travel for meetings, training sessions, or to support nearby stores as needed.
