About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role involves unloading deliveries, handling equipment and hazardous materials safely, preparing the work area for daily operations, and assisting customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. It is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Scheduling may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight hours depending on store needs. Responsibilities include unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, down-stocking and organizing shelves, setting up pallets, verifying deliveries, preparing the dock, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Associates may help customers locate or load products and use equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners, Zebra phones, and balers. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders in the Orders App, loading orders accurately and safely, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving customer order issues, communicating proactively with customers, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used when required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
Follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; use team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

3 months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
Unload freight, stock merchandise, down-stock products, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to support store operations.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Assist customers with locating or loading products.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
Load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
Communicate proactively with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
