About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, handling equipment and hazardous materials safely, preparing work areas, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining organized backrooms. It is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. You may assist customers or teammates with a friendly, professional attitude and help customers locate or load products. Schedules may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading and rotating delivery orders, resolving order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Work may take place indoors and outdoors, in varying weather and climate conditions, and around noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience operating forklifts or other powered equipment, such as lifts and order pickers.
Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction and follow Delivery Readiness best practices.
