As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, preparing the dock, verifying deliveries, and using store equipment. You may also help customers locate or load products and support other assigned store tasks. The work is physical and fast-paced, and most shifts are spent on your feet. Scheduling may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight hours based on store needs. Associates are expected to use safe lifting practices, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Work may take place indoors or outdoors and involve varying climates, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary by role, weight, and volume; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, with minimal team lifting starting at 75 pounds or as needed. Powered equipment must be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, duties also include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading orders safely and accurately, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving order issues, communicating with customers, and following Delivery Readiness practices. Lowe’s offers benefits beyond competitive pay, including health insurance options, tuition assistance, a company-matching 401(k), an optional Employee Stock Purchase Program, a 10% associate discount, flexible schedules, and the Track to the Trades program. Benefit eligibility and availability may vary.
