About The Position

Seres Engineering & Services is recruiting for the contract salaried position of Real Property Specialist to support the Fort Benning Department of Public Works (DPW) Master Planning Division (MPD). This will be a full-time position reporting to Fort Benning daily Monday-Friday from 0730-1600, excluding Federal Holidays, typically with the potential for infrequent alternate working hours at Fort Benning, GA to support and coordinate DPW MPD needs that will include facility furnishing management for Fort Benning, Camp Merril, and Camp Rudder. Successful candidates will support DPW MPD in all aspects of space management and the real property program. Typical tasks support space utilization planning and execution of the plan to include, but not limited to, facility utilization, furniture needs or swaps, fixture needs, equipment management (FF&E) and other activities. Coordination will be required with multiple stakeholders and management of activities to support project lifecycles form planning phases through execution and closeout. Provide analysis and recommendations regarding FF&E to leadership that will best support the Army training mission for review and approval.

Requirements

Must be able to satisfy background clearance for access requirements at Fort Benning, GA and Camp Rudder, FL, and Camp Merril, GA.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Must be able to traverse construction sites unassisted and access areas of construction to perform inspections of the work (e.g., barracks, mechanical rooms, roof areas, uneven terrain, unpaved surfaces).
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to communicate appropriately and professionally via email.
Must have a high school diploma plus 5 years of applicable professional experience managing space utilization or construction projects.
Must demonstrate the ability to make a determination based on available resources.

Experience and familiarity working with Fort Benning, Camp Rudder, or Camp Merrill.

Responsibilities

Support DPW MPD in all aspects of space management and the real property program.
Support space utilization planning and execution of the plan to include facility utilization, furniture needs or swaps, fixture needs, equipment management (FF&E) and other activities.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage activities to support project lifecycles from planning phases through execution and closeout.
Provide analysis and recommendations regarding FF&E to leadership that will best support the Army training mission for review and approval.
Assist with facility utilization including swing space assessment, temporary lodging, and end state planning gap analysis.
Make recommendations for space solutions for multiple organizations at Fort Benning.
Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate monthly facility management meetings.
Identify resource gaps and recommend solutions.
Effectively and professionally communicate with leadership and stakeholders.
Coordinate acquisitions, delivery, and installation of FF&E.
Communicate with barracks to receive and process requests or address issues.
Independently complete tasks in the job description without other support personnel.
