This position is part of an approved Career Development Plan (CDP) and offers career progression opportunities and salary incentives, as funding permits, based on performance, qualifications, and experience. The Real Property Agent will negotiate contract terms for real property transactions, prepare sales contracts, and handle legal documents pertaining to these transactions. They will also meet with property owners to present and explain projects, make formal purchase offers, and coordinate closing transactions. The role involves performing title searches, reviewing plans, and preparing estimates of value and costs. Additionally, the agent will process requests and answer questions associated with county real property, and review subdivision, commercial site, and highway road plans, plats, and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance with county standards. Other work as required will also be performed.
