Part Time Real Estate Instructor - Superior
About The Position
Colibri Group is seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors for its Superior School of Real Estate brand. Instructors teach pre-licensing, continuing education, and post-licensing courses in person and online, using provided course content and materials. They help students understand the material through insightful lessons, real-world examples, and answers to student questions. This is a part-time employee position with an estimated commitment of up to 29 hours per week. Classes may be scheduled in the mornings, evenings, and weekends; class length depends on the required instructional hours. Compensation is an hourly rate based on the number of hours in the class.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney.
- Active North Carolina real estate license as a salesperson or broker.
- State approval to teach pre-licensing, continuing education, and post-licensing courses.
- Flexibility to teach weekend and evening classes.
- Computer with an HD camera and microphone.
- Quiet, dedicated office space with a strong internet connection.
- Ability to instruct in an onsite classroom and via Zoom.
Nice To Haves
- DREI certification.
- Previous instruction and/or training experience.
Responsibilities
- Instruct assigned courses according to the course plan.
- Actively engage with students in the classroom and online.
- Use webinar and livestreaming technology and online instruction methods.
- Recommend strategies for success and help students meet course objectives.
- Participate in faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings.
