Colibri Group is seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors to support New Mexico students in online courses offered by Colibri Real Estate. The instructor will become familiar with the pre-licensing course materials and help students understand them by responding to questions through email and other support channels. The position is part-time and contract, with an estimated commitment of 2–10 hours per week; hours may fluctuate. Compensation is hourly and based on hours worked supporting students and completing other position requirements. Instructors must complete the documentation and duties necessary to become a recognized instructor or Instructor of Record, complete required training, and remain current with the school’s technology systems. The role includes reviewing and updating course content when state laws or rules change, and staying attentive to real estate regulatory changes that could affect course content or delivery. Depending on state requirements, an Instructor of Record may also handle course and school approval paperwork, provide formal course-material reviews, permit use of their name and signature on completion certificates, and present course content to the Education Advisory Committee. The instructor must complete the 16-hour Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI) designation through IDECC within four months of contract acceptance and renew it every three years. The school reimburses the costs of obtaining and renewing the designation. The role requires an active New Mexico real estate license and at least 3–5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney. Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.
