Gordon Feinblatt’s Real Estate Practice Group seeks an experienced real estate attorney to advise clients on leases for utility-scale energy projects. The role sits at the intersection of the firm’s real estate and environmental and energy practices. A typical day includes drafting leases and advising clients on lease matters. This is a mid-level position with some supervision, working as part of a collaborative real estate, environmental, and energy law team, with firm support available for unusual or complex client challenges. The team drafts contracts, negotiates transaction terms, conducts due diligence, collaborates with other firm departments, and provides strategic legal advice. The firm has an existing client base, so a portable book of business is not required. The successful candidate will work with existing clients and, over time, help expand the practice by adding new clients. The firm supports attorney development through employee resource groups, internal education for substantive and professional skills, and business development programming with marketing support. Attorneys are encouraged to participate in firm and community life. The real estate group operates as a hybrid practice, and lawyers may choose where to work based on client needs.
