Gordon Feinblatt’s Real Estate Practice Group is seeking an experienced attorney to advise clients on commercial real estate matters in Maryland. The role involves acquisitions and sales, leasing, mixed-use development, zoning and land use, financing, landlord-tenant matters, government approvals, and other real estate issues. The attorney will work independently without more senior supervision as part of a collaborative real estate law team, with firm support available for unique or unusual client challenges. The team’s work includes drafting contracts such as leases and purchase-sale agreements, negotiating transactions, conducting due diligence reviews, collaborating with other firm departments, and providing strategic legal advice. The practice has an established client base, so a portable book of business is not required. The successful candidate is expected to serve existing clients and, over time, expand the practice by developing new client relationships. The firm supports attorneys through employee resource groups, internal education focused on substantive and professional skills, and a business development program with marketing support. Lawyers are encouraged to participate in firm and community life. The real estate group works in a hybrid practice, and lawyers may choose where to work based on how best to meet client needs. The stated base salary range is $150,000–$180,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Final compensation considers candidate-specific factors, including skills, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, and market considerations.
