Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Appropriate MN teaching license in (or ability to obtain).
  • Record of exemplary results with students.
  • Knowledge and application of assessment tools and data management.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a love for data-driven instruction

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a K–8 urban public or charter school setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of reading intervention techniques and literacy development

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor individual student growth or drops in performance
  • Administer student assessments and utilize data to identify areas for growth
  • Collaborate with grade-level teachers and administration to establish growth plans for students
  • Create lesson plans and activities to enhance student learning in areas of need
  • Provide individual and small group remediation to struggling students
  • Ensure safety and supervision of students at all times.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance, which is an essential function of the role.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the school and organization.
