RBT For 9 Year Old Boy (Mon-Wed: 10-2, Thu: 10-1)
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs) providing 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays. This role focuses on helping children build essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and boost confidence through play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. You will work consistently with the same children in their natural environments, implementing treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. The position offers flexible part-time hours, ideal for supplementing current employment or academic schedules.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- ABA experience a plus.
- Weekends a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
- Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
