RBT (Mon & Wed: 3-5, Tue & Fri: 9-11, Thu: 10-12)
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs) providing 1-on-1 ABA therapy to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. This role focuses on helping children develop essential life skills, improve communication, foster independence, and build confidence through play-based ABA techniques designed by a licensed BCBA. It's a hands-on, impactful position where patience, energy, and creativity are key. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- ABA experience a plus!
- Weekend availability a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
