About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) providing 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to a 10-year-old boy with autism in his home. This role offers flexible part-time hours, primarily in the afternoons and evenings, making it an ideal opportunity to supplement income or fit around other commitments. As an RBT/BT, you will work directly with children on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays, helping them develop essential life skills, improve communication, foster independence, and build confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You will consistently work with the same children, facilitating their progress in their natural environments. This is a hands-on, impactful role where your patience, energy, and creativity are valued. Training and support will be provided to ensure you can effectively meet each child's unique needs.

Requirements

Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism)
Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
Reliable transportation
Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
