About The Position

The Quote Writer Coordinator will manage and review Special Option Requests made by dealers. They will determine and adjust prices according within Quote Writer specs. This position will work with vendors to ensure accurate pricing to meet Rosenbauer objectives. All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Able to read, reason, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
  • Able to respond to common inquiries from customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, or members of our business community in a professional manner.
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Able to apply advanced math concepts related to finance.
  • Able to develop budgets and track budget expenditures.
  • Computer knowledge is required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn quote writer and other programs.
  • Able to achieve company goals by developing and adhering to standards and process management through a hands-on-approach as a team player.
  • High level of organization, time-management skills, and self-discipline.
  • Highly motivated and analytical individuals with acute attention to detail.
  • Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Able to work well with minimal supervisor and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Rosenbauer product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and reviews Special Option Requests made by dealers.
  • Determines and adjusts prices according within Quote Writer specs.
  • Receives quotes from vendors for parts requested by customers to fit their needs.
  • Prepares and updates spec book prints to streamline Pre-Sale process.
  • Maintains and updates pricing and content to align with vendor pricing and company objectives.
  • Structures and optimizes Bills of Materials (BoMs) to align with downstream manufacturing, procurement, and production processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cross-functional workflow continuity.
  • Maintains strong cross-functional coordination with key stakeholders to ensure content, layout, and documentation are aligned with operational requirements, customer expectations, and production standards.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
