About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is hiring a part-time Ramp Agent in its Ground Handling Department. The role focuses on baggage handling and below-the-wing aircraft servicing in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment. The successful candidate will complete the Ramp Agent training course, keep company goals and customer expectations in mind, and work with teammates to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives. The position reports to the General Manager. Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, a 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and a drug screen as required. Applicants must provide proof of high school or GED completion and be at least 18 years old. The starting rate is $16.00 per hour. The application deadline is November 11, 2026.

Requirements

Successfully complete the Ramp Agent training course.
Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
Pass a 10-year Criminal History Records Check and drug screen as required.
Proof of high school or GED completion.
Minimum age of 18.

Nice To Haves

Previous airline experience.
Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider.

Responsibilities

Service aircraft below the wing.
Load and unload baggage and cargo.
Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
Guide and park aircraft.
