About The Position

The Seasonal Ramp/Warehouse Agent works as part of a team to provide safe, efficient aircraft services and a high level of customer service, helping keep passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time. The position is part-time and seasonal, based at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The stated schedule is Tuesday through Friday on the AM shift, until the aircraft departs; some weekends are required, and the schedule may change. Successful completion of the location’s SIDA airport badging or background check process is required.

Requirements

Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process required for this location.
Three-year U.S. residency required for Postal Clearance.
A valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
Ability to verbally direct in English.
Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and to reach with hands and arms.
Ability to speak and hear efficiently.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds at times.
Ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet in height.
Ability to perform prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload freight, including building up and breaking down cargo pallets and freight containers according to guidelines.
Maintain required equipment certifications and operate equipment safely.
Obtain proper security documents for all shipments.
Verify shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness upon receipt from the customer.
Verify shipment pieces and airway bill numbers upon delivery to the customer.
Keep information confidential and interact tactfully with employees and client representatives.
Follow instructions and provide verbal direction in English.
