About The Position

The Ramp Agent works as part of a team to deliver safe and efficient aircraft services while providing a high level of customer service and helping keep passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time. The position is based at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and is part-time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The Inland Group of Companies provides aviation services including aircraft de-icing, fueling, environmental management, ground handling, and other specialized support. Safety is a priority, and every employee has the authority and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions exist.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required.
Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
Ability to verbally direct in English.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Tact in dealing with employees at all levels and client representatives.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload freight, including building up and breaking down cargo pallets and freight containers according to guidelines.
Hold required equipment certifications and operate equipment safely.
Obtain proper security documents for shipments.
Verify shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness upon receipt from the customer.
Verify shipment pieces and airway bill numbers upon delivery to the customer.
Treat all information as confidential.
Deal tactfully with employees at all levels and client representatives.
Read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English; verbally direct in English.
