About The Position
As a Seasonal Ramp/Warehouse Agent, you will work as part of a team to deliver safe and efficient aircraft services while providing a high level of customer service and keeping passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time. This part-time seasonal position is at Orlando International Airport (MCO), with PM hours Monday through Friday until the aircraft departs. Some weekends are required, and the schedule is subject to change. Successful completion of the location's SIDA airport badging or background check process is required.
Requirements
- Read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
- Verbally direct in English.
- Successfully complete the SIDA airport badging or background check process required for this location.
- Have three years of U.S. residency for Postal Clearance.
- Have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight, including building up and breaking down cargo pallets and freight containers in accordance with guidelines.
- Hold equipment certifications and operate equipment safely.
- Obtain the proper security documents for all shipments.
- Verify shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness upon receipt from the customer.
- Verify shipment pieces and airway bill numbers upon delivery to the customer.
- Treat all information as confidential.
- Deal tactfully with employees at all levels and client representatives.
