About The Position

The Ramp Agent is responsible for various ground operations tasks related to aircraft handling. This includes loading and unloading luggage and cargo, directing aircraft to gates, and performing interior cabin cleaning when necessary. The role requires operating motorized equipment and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Daily paperwork and adherence to safety protocols are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

• Must be able to drive and operate ramp equipment
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds and more
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and some holidays
• Reliable, dependable, and responsible
• Valid Driver's License required
• Airport Driving Permit
• TSA Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Onload and offload luggage and cargo from aircraft
• Direct aircraft to the proper gate on arriving flights
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions and around loud aircraft and machinery
• Complete daily paperwork and forms connected to work assignments in a timely manner
• Operate and drive motorized equipment such as belt loaders and bag carts
• Report inoperative equipment to ensure proper repair and maintenance
• Perform interior airport cabin cleaning when necessary
• Other duties as assigned by the manager and supervisor on duty
