About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable Ramp Agent for its Ground Handling Department. The role focuses on baggage handling and aircraft servicing in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment, while keeping company goals and customer expectations in mind. The successful candidate must complete the Ramp Agent training course. The position reports to the General Manager. Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, a 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and a required drug screen. Proof of high school or GED completion is required, and candidates must be at least 18 years old. The starting rate is $16.00 per hour. The application deadline is November 9, 2026.

Requirements

Successfully complete the Ramp Agent training course.
Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
Complete a 10-year Criminal History Records Check and required drug screen.
Proof of high school or GED completion.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs; ability to handle objects up to 70 pounds and assist passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs.

Nice To Haves

Previous airline experience.
Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider.

Responsibilities

Perform below-the-wing aircraft servicing.
Load and unload baggage and cargo.
Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
Guide and park aircraft.
Perform cabin maintenance tasks.
De-ice aircraft.
Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
