About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join its Ground Handling Department as a Ramp Agent. The primary responsibility is baggage handling and aircraft servicing in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment. Ramp Agents are expected to keep company goals and customer expectations in mind while completing daily tasks, and must successfully complete the Ramp Agent training course. This position reports to the General Manager. Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, a 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and a drug screen as required. Proof of high school or GED completion is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. The job application deadline is December 6, 2026.

Requirements

Successfully complete the Ramp Agent training course.
Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
Pass a 10-year Criminal History Records Check and drug screen as required.
Proof of high school or GED completion.
Minimum age of 18.
Ability to handle objects weighing up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous airline experience.
Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider.
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

Responsibilities

Service aircraft below the wing.
Load and unload baggage and cargo.
Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
Guide and park aircraft.
Perform cabin maintenance tasks.
De-ice aircraft.
Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
Assist passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs.
