Raffia / Wallpaper Associate
About The Position
This position is responsible for cutting and applying raffia / wallpaper for furniture such as game tables, cocktail tables, and consoles. The associate must be able to self-inspect and touch up unwrapped cases with dents and chips before applying Raffia. They will apply glue and Raffia/wallpaper ensuring miters and joints are straight and even, all bubbles are out, and Raffia/wallpaper is lying flat. The role also involves maintaining glue levels and ensuring glue is on order when needed. The associate must observe plant safety rules while maintaining a neat and clean work area and be quality conscious in assigned duties. Other tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be able to read route card.
- Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over for the course of 8 hours.
- Must be able to push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs with assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with wallpaper & raffia preferred.
