Radiology Technologist PRN
About The Position
Performs all duties of a Radiology Technologist and oversees the general operation of the department as assigned. Must be capable of replacing the Assistant Chief Technologist as required. Provides care and service to patients ranging from critically ill newborns through geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of each individual’s function and developmental age. The employee is expected to understand and actively participate in fulfilling the mission of Osceola Regional Medical Center, demonstrate behavior consistent with its core values, support its strategic plan, and contribute to the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT-R Radiography (RT) qualification.
- Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer qualification.
- Vocational school graduate or associate degree.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a Radiology Technologist.
- Oversee the general operation of the department as assigned.
- Replace the Assistant Chief Technologist as required.
- Provide care and service to patients from newborn through geriatric age, with consideration of each individual’s function and developmental age.
