About The Position

HCA Florida University Hospital is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist. The role performs technical procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology, regulates equipment used to expose X-ray images, operates the CR unit, and sends images to PACS for verification. The technologist also assists with the daily operation of the Radiology Department and maintains professional working relationships with fellow employees.

Requirements

Associate degree.
Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer qualification.
ARRT-R Radiography (RT).
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.

Responsibilities

Perform technical procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
Regulate equipment used to expose X-ray images.
Operate the CR unit and send images to PACS for verification.
Assist in the daily operation of the Radiology Department.
Establish and maintain good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees.
