About The Position

The Radiology Technologist provides diagnostic radiography and CT services, supports weekday night and weekend on-call coverage, and assists with patient scheduling and ancillary testing to support patient care. The position performs X-ray and CT procedures according to department protocols, conducts ECGs as needed, and coordinates imaging services. It also requires accurate documentation in the Trubridge EMR system and image management and review using Image Link PACS. The technologist operates a Philips 7300 Digital X-ray System, Philips Incisive 128-Slice CT Scanner, and Samsung Portable X-ray Unit, while maintaining patient safety, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and compassionate customer service. The role is PRN, with required weekend on-call coverage and additional shifts available based on department needs.

Requirements

Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT certification.
Current BLS certification.
Kansas State Radiologic Technologist license.
Strong independent work ethic and excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

CT experience is preferred; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures according to department protocols.
Provide weekend on-call coverage as scheduled.
Provide evening/night on-call coverage as scheduled.
Operate the Philips 7300 Digital X-ray System, Philips Incisive 128-Slice CT Scanner, and Samsung Portable X-ray Unit.
Perform ECGs as needed.
Schedule patients and coordinate imaging services.
Document accurately in the Trubridge EMR system.
Manage and review images using Image Link PACS.
Maintain patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Provide compassionate patient care and excellent customer service.
