RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST - RADIOLOGY
About The Position
Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its Radiology team. The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations to the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure. The role uses conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and C-arm radiology equipment and supports consistently strong patient/customer satisfaction. The technologist appropriately supervises students according to their competency level. The position is 0.6 FTE, or 48 hours every two weeks, with day shifts starting at 7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., or 9:00 a.m. Occasional weekends are required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures related to radiographic procedures, normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school.
- Associate degree in Radiography.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license for Wisconsin locations.
- Current BLS certification or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Site-specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems, and applications.
