About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist – Multimodality, located in Templeton, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The role is based in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital imaging department and operates on a night shift schedule (5x8). The weekly pay ranges from $2,937 to $2,939. This opportunity is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC and includes on-call duties 2-4 nights per week.

Requirements

  • California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required; ARRT certification in Radiography required.
  • Current certification in at least one advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET) and ability to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality; ARRT-R required; additional modality credentials (e.g., ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARRT-NMT, ARRT-S) or equivalent recognized credentials accepted.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR from an approved vendor required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • Ability to work in a hospital imaging department; on-night schedule; ability to work with multiple modalities; strong patient care and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to meet facility credentialing requirements and pass standard background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Three years’ technical imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT and ultrasound examinations; competent to operate at least three modalities regularly.
  • Safely position patients, provide shielding, and ensure patient comfort and image quality.
  • Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; maintain patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
  • Test defibrillator and verify crash cart integrity; participate in routine safety checks and emergency readiness.
  • Perform mobile imaging examinations as needed to support diagnostic workflow.
  • Prepare and handle contrast agents for imaging procedures; follow safety and documentation procedures.
  • Escalate findings per department protocol; maintain accurate image labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain EPIC or equivalent electronic health record experience and complete required documentation; participate in other job-related duties as assigned.
