About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech – Multimodality Technologist in Sonora, California. The assignment is 13 weeks long and begins on 09/14/2026. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts (3x12) within a healthcare imaging department. The technologist will be part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary imaging team and will be responsible for performing a range of modalities including CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy. Experience with EPIC is required.

Requirements

EPIC experience
Proficient in CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy (OR) procedures
Availability for 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule
Ability to undertake a 13-week travel assignment in Sonora, CA

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a radiology/imaging department setting preferred

Responsibilities

Perform CT, radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures (including OR fluoroscopy) following department protocols
Operate multimodality imaging equipment and adjust technical factors to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
Position patients, select appropriate imaging views, and ensure patient safety and comfort
Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA) and maintain strict infection control practices
Document procedures and patient information in the EMR (EPIC); communicate results and any concerns to the radiology team
Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and other care team members to support intraoperative imaging and turnaround times
