About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech – Multimodality Technologist in Sonora, California. The contract is for 13 weeks and starts on 09/14/2026. The role is in a short-term acute care facility and guarantees 36 hours per week with a shift of 4x10-hour days. Weekly pay ranges from $2,834 to $2,921.

Requirements

Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (California) required.
ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
Current certification in at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET) required; credential(s) such as ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARRT-NMT, ARRT-S, RDMS/RDCS, CCI-RCS, RTPET or equivalent recognized by the credentialing body required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
At least two years of recent field experience required.
Proficiency in CT, X-ray and fluoroscopy (OR) imaging; ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment and adapt to a 4x10-hour shift schedule.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Three years preferred experience.
EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate radiographic, mammographic, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, performing at least three modalities regularly.
Safely transport and transfer patients between beds, gurneys and wheelchairs; prepare and manage contrast agents as needed.
Conduct mobile imaging examinations when required; assist in procedures and ensure high-quality imaging with appropriate radiation safety.
Verify and document exam results in the electronic medical record; collaborate with radiologists, clinicians and team members to meet departmental goals.
Maintain equipment readiness, perform routine quality checks, and support patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
