About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Radiology Technologist III for a 12-week assignment in the Radiology Diagnostic department in Redding, California. The position is full-time with variable shifts. The technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures and serves as a primary patient contact, supporting quality care and customer service. The role also contributes to quality assurance, compliance, and departmental operations, and may supervise staff when leadership is absent.

Compensation is estimated at $57.71 to $83.59 per hour, or up to $2,423–$3,510 gross per week. The exact starting compensation will be determined during applicant selection based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
• National certification in three modalities, or, if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in two modalities and leadership experience; applicable effective July 1, 2017.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
• Current BCLS certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of acute clinical radiography experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density, and Special Procedures.
• Serve as the primary patient contact, ensuring quality care and excellent customer service.
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and departmental compliance initiatives.
• Supervise Radiology staff in the absence of leadership and assist with staff evaluations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, supplies, and equipment for assigned imaging areas.
• Maintain efficient department operations and promote teamwork across the organization.
• Ensure accurate processing, documentation, and transmission of images through PACS.
