Radiology Technologist III
About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Radiology Technologist III for its partner healthcare facilities in Redding, California. The role performs diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities and serves as a primary point of contact for patients, providing quality care and customer service. The technologist also supports quality and compliance initiatives, departmental operations, and staff supervision when leadership is absent. This is a full-time, variable-shift assignment with a stated length of 12 weeks. The posting lists compensation of $57.71 to $83.59 per hour, equivalent to up to $2,423–$3,510 gross per week. The exact starting compensation will depend on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
- National certification in three modalities; alternatively, for a leadership role, national certification in two modalities and leadership experience are required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of acute clinical radiography experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density, and Special Procedures.
- Serve as the primary patient contact, ensuring quality care and excellent customer service.
- Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and departmental compliance initiatives.
- Supervise Radiology staff in the absence of leadership and assist with staff evaluations and corrective actions.
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, supplies, and equipment for assigned imaging areas.
- Maintain efficient department operations and promote teamwork across the organization.
- Ensure accurate processing, documentation, and transmission of images through PACS.
