About The Position

The Radiology Tech works under the direction of the Physician to perform radiographic examinations for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons, consistent with their parameters. The role is based in a clinic work environment at DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Dearborn, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and no nights, weekends, or holidays. Full-time roles in Sterling Heights and a part-time option in the Detroit area are also available. The position involves producing diagnostic radiographs, assessing patients, assisting physicians with x-ray procedures, and using digital radiography equipment and a processor. The Radiology Tech also maintains patient and departmental records, supplies, and equipment and performs related tasks. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT within one year post-graduation.
BLS certification.
State license if required.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
Assess patients and assist the Physician in performing x-ray procedures using state-of-the-art DR equipment and a processor.
Maintain patient and departmental records, supplies, and equipment.
