Radiology Tech - Orthopedics
About The Position
DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is hiring a Radiology Tech to perform radiographic examinations for sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons under the direction of a physician. The role is based in a clinic work environment and uses state-of-the-art digital radiography (DR) equipment and a processor. The posting describes a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the Sterling Heights role, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. A full-time role is also available in Dearborn, and a part-time option is available in the Detroit area. Tenet Healthcare/TPR complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory workforce vaccination. If vaccination is required by applicable law, offered candidates must provide proof of full vaccination or obtain approval for a religious or medical exemption before starting. Candidates with an exemption must undergo regular testing as required by law.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
- ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT within one year after graduation.
- BLS certification.
- State license, if required.

Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
- Assess patients.
- Assist the physician in performing x-ray procedures.
- Maintain patient and departmental records, supplies, and equipment.
