Radiology Tech - Orthopedics
About The Position
Under the direction of a physician, the Radiology Tech performs radiographic examinations for sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons. The role is based in a clinic work environment and includes assessing patients, assisting physicians with X-ray procedures, and using digital radiography (DR) equipment and a processor. The position is listed at DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Sterling Heights, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and no nights, weekends, or holidays. A full-time role is also available in Dearborn, and a part-time option is available in the Detroit area. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
- ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT within one year post-graduation.
- BLS certification.
- State license if required.
