About The Position

This is a traveling assignment for a Radiology Tech (Diagnostic Radiologic Tech) in Clearlake, CA. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026. The position is located in a critical access hospital setting within the hospital imaging department. The role involves performing radiographic examinations, operating radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining equipment and work environment.

Requirements

ARRT (R) certification required.
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
CRT license required; fluoro permit required within 6 months of employment start date.
At least two years of recent radiology field experience; one to five years preferred.
Current nursing license per the state of assignment.
Vaccination requirement: all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical or religious exemptions possible.
E-Verify participation as part of employment process.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Imaging Director and Radiologist to supervise and perform radiographic examinations.
Operate radiology equipment to acquire quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Position patients, apply shielding, and verify image quality and patient documentation in the medical record.
Communicate effectively with radiology team and referring departments to ensure accurate exams and timely patient care.
Maintain equipment readiness, clean work environment, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies in all interactions.
