About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce radiographs of designated body areas; select appropriate technical factors and tailor exams to patient age and condition.
  • Assist physicians with administering opaque media (contrast agents) as needed and directed.
  • Maintain patient flow, coordinate imaging procedures, and keep accurate records; participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain imaging printing equipment and PACS systems; ensure imaging data is properly stored and archived.
  • Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care; transport and position patients as required; practice radiation protection for self and patient.
  • Participate in on-call assignments and schedule changes as necessary; contribute to a cooperative, cross-trained team in a fast-paced, multi-modality environment.
