Requirements

Responsibilities

Operate imaging equipment to produce radiographs of designated body areas; select appropriate technical factors and tailor exams to patient age and condition.
Assist physicians with administering opaque media (contrast agents) as needed and directed.
Maintain patient flow, coordinate imaging procedures, and keep accurate records; participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
Troubleshoot and maintain imaging printing equipment and PACS systems; ensure imaging data is properly stored and archived.
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care; transport and position patients as required; practice radiation protection for self and patient.
Participate in on-call assignments and schedule changes as necessary; contribute to a cooperative, cross-trained team in a fast-paced, multi-modality environment.
