About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist (Diagnostic Radiologic Tech) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The assignment is for 13 weeks in a hospital setting, starting on 08/31/2026. It guarantees 40 hours per week with a rotating shift. The role requires MA licensure, ARRT certification, and flexibility to float to other sites as needed. Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification required at submission.
  • Minimum 2 years of Diagnostic Radiologic Imaging experience (inpatient/outpatient, OR, fluoroscopy, portable imaging).
  • Current AHA BLS certification and seasonal influenza vaccination.
  • Proficient with multiple radiography systems; familiar with OR imaging; ability to float to other sites as needed, with no more than one site per day; weekend availability.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred; RTO requests must be included at submission; valid MA driver’s license with address matching demographics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures (inpatient, outpatient, OR, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, portable imaging) with accurate patient positioning and exposure parameters.
  • Review images for quality, apply radiation safety principles, and document results in the EMR; ensure proper labeling and storage of images.
  • Operate and troubleshoot multiple radiography systems across different vendors; assist with OR imaging and fluoroscopy as needed; adapt to varied equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to provide timely, patient-centered imaging services across age groups; maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records in the EMR (EPIC) and comply with privacy and regulatory requirements; participate in QA activities.
  • Be flexible with scheduling, including weekends; may float to other sites as needed but not more than one site per day; call is not required but available.
