About The Position

This is a travel assignment focused on X-ray imaging. The role requires ARRT registry and clinical experience in radiography, with equipment experience preferred on Siemens and Carestream platforms. The position covers multiple shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure coverage for patient imaging needs across a hospital setting.

Requirements

• ARRT registry required
• 2+ years radiography experience

• Ability to work AM/PM/On Call shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working in a hospital setting in the North Kohala area

Nice To Haves

• Siemens and Carestream equipment experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations (X-ray only) as ordered, ensuring proper patient positioning and protection of sensitive tissues.
• Operate imaging equipment (Siemens or Carestream) and adjust technical factors to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Verify patient identity and exam requests, document procedures, and maintain accurate image archives and paperwork.
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and patient care protocols; monitor for patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and technologists to coordinate care and relay preliminary information as needed.
• Be available for a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; participate in on-call duties as required.
