About The Position
Radiology Tech - Multimodality Technologist needed for a travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California, United States. This assignment takes place in a Critical Access Hospital setting. The role focuses on CT and X-ray imaging across modalities, supporting a busy radiology department in a travel capacity.
Requirements
- At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Current BLS certification
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- EPIC experience
- CT/X-ray experience 3–5 years
- IV certified
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic (X-ray) procedures across modalities according to department protocols
- Position patients, verify identities, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging
- Operate imaging equipment, adjust technical factors, and optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
- Document procedures and results in the electronic medical record (EPIC); collaborate with radiologists and the radiology team
- Maintain equipment readiness, perform routine quality checks, and uphold infection control and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to support efficient patient throughput and accurate imaging
