About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech – Multimodality Technologist in Templeton, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026. The role operates within a clinical imaging department in an inpatient care environment and guarantees 40 hours per week on a four-10 daytime schedule.

Requirements

Ability to operate at least three imaging modalities on a regular basis.
Eligibility to participate in a US travel assignment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Comfortable working daytime shifts on a 4x10 schedule and traveling as needed.
Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Adaptability to a clinical imaging department in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment; regularly perform at least three modalities.
Ensure image quality, proper patient positioning, and radiation safety; follow ALARA principles and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to meet department objectives and maintain workflow efficiency.
Prepare and document imaging procedures, verify patient data, and maintain accurate imaging records in the electronic medical record.
Maintain equipment safety, perform basic quality control checks, and communicate maintenance needs.
Support department goals and contribute to safe, timely patient care through accurate image handling and timely consultations.
