About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology in Los Angeles, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/28/2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift is a 3x12 Nights schedule. The setting for this role is home healthcare - hospice. Healthforce provides continuous assignment support for this travel role.

Requirements

  • Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice (required)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required per policy)
  • Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification (required)
  • Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or equivalent (TEAM/CPI) certification (required)
  • At least two years of recent experience in the field (required)
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • Current nursing license per the state of assignment (required by the assignment notes)
  • Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice environment
  • Ability to meet the travel and scheduling requirements of a travel assignment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using specialized equipment.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions, as ordered by physicians; position and instruct patients accordingly.
  • Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures, including catheterization and angiography, while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical thinking skills; document findings and coordinate with the care team.
  • Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; contribute to team development and, when applicable, input into hiring decisions.
  • Ensure equipment readiness, image quality, and adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements; participate in quality improvement activities.
