About The Position

This is a travel Interventional Radiology Tech assignment in a short-term acute care setting in Marysville, California. The contract is for 16 weeks, starting on 09/28/2026. The role focuses on cardiovascular imaging and interventional procedures, requiring appropriate licensure and certifications. The position offers a weekly pay range of 2,765 to 2,927 USD with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The schedule is typically five 8-hour days per week, with on-call coverage required 6-7 days per month.

Requirements

• California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license and ARRT certification required.
• Cardiac Radiologic Technology (CRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor required.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 1–2 years of Cath Lab/interventional radiology experience required.
• On-call availability 6–7 days per month.
• Ability to work in a travel assignment within a short-term acute care environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform, assist with, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations.
• Conduct active radiologic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using specialized, sophisticated equipment.
• Operate imaging systems to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians.
• Position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies; provide clear explanations and discharge instructions as needed.
• Start contrast media injections into blood vessels and operate fluoroscopy and cinefluorography to guide catheter advancement.
• Monitor patient status during imaging, alert the physician to changes, and assist with procedures as directed.
