About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Radiology Aide to join the imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota. This is a 1.0 FTE position (80 hours per two weeks), working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends. The role provides assistance, as requested, to Radiology Department staff, patients, and nursing personnel.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills, including navigating Windows and using applications associated with basic work tasks, such as Outlook and the Epic EHR.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

Comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
Participate in creating and implementing improvements.
Assist radiologic technologists and radiologists with procedures to facilitate patient flow.
Provide appropriate patient safety measures to support quality patient care.
Develop films to maintain patient flow.
Prepare room setups and ensure procedural needs are available.
Transport patients to maintain patient flow.
Assemble and file radiology jackets to support timely examination processing.
Maintain supply inventory to ensure required items are available.
