About The Position
Responsible for performing a variety of support services in the main department of diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- A High School diploma and six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist technologist in the processing of films, reloading film cartridges, restocking processing chemicals and correcting minor film processor breakdowns.
- Assist technologists in the moving of patients on and off x-ray table as needed.
- Assist senior technologists in getting E.R. reports.
- Transport patients between hospital units.
- Perform a variety of miscellaneous duties: make copies of films, watch patients and run errands within hospital as needed.
- Work in various areas of the department such as the front office and/or file room as needed in support if the main department.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
