About The Position

The Radiology Aide supports the imaging department by assisting technologists with patient care and exam preparation, verifying and managing images in PACS, and retrieving prior films as needed. The role includes safely transporting patients throughout the hospital, facilitating communication between departments, and maintaining a working knowledge of the Film Library. The aide ensures that necessary paperwork and safety protocols are reviewed before exams.

Requirements

• CPR certification.
• Keyboard experience, including typing and computer use.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good independent management skills.
• High level of flexibility and organization.
• Ability to interact appropriately with the community, hospital staff, and physicians.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain good interpersonal relations with patients and co-workers.
