About The Position

The Radio Dispatcher receives communications and directs appropriate personnel into responsive action. The role monitors radio channels and dispatch request lines, serves as the initial point of contact for emergency service requests, evaluates the nature and extent of emergencies, and provides guidance as necessary. The dispatcher manages logs of calls and dispatches and shares information with response teams as needed. The position is in Facilities Management Administration at the University of Mississippi. Compensation is $18.64–$27.96.
